On 9-27 I requested a letter on this K-22 and received it today. This gun came with a special order Call gold bead front sight. My previous question of how a later serial # could have had the gold bead sight is answered in the letter - by special order.

Nice K 22. it appears to be almost new condition. I love those Call Gold Bead sights and also Red Posts.
There is not likely to be a better feeling than having a wonderful package and then getting a factory letter that validates the one or two unusual things about it.
