Just picked this up a few months ago and finally got a picture of it. Anyone know when it was made SN is K 2989XX.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer but just want to nail it down: this gun is NOT model-marked as a Model 17? It's a four-screw Pre-17?

Interesting stocks. Is that teak? The pattern, to the extent I can make it out, looks almost Asian. Or maybe I'm just letting my imagination run away with me.

not marked on the frame it has three screws on the side plate and one on front of trigger guard. Grips have a flower pattern.
