I have a smith and Wesson k-22. serial number k-51090. can anyone tell me what year is was made. it has a 6 inch barrel and 3 screws on the side plate. it also has a diamond in the center of the wood grips. thanks

Welcome! This one likely shipped in 1948, and if you remove the right stock panel you should see the 4th sideplate screw under it, and likely the digits of the serial number on the inside of the panel. Hope this is helpful.
