Probably 1948 and 1949 respectively, but there is an off chance that the second one could be dated to very late 1948.
Just to pound on an ugly truth, nobody really knows the manufacture date of a particular revolver -- with rare exceptions that I won't get into here. What we know in almost every case is a gun's shipping date, as that is how S&W kept track of their inventory. While there is a rough correlation between serial number sequence and shipping sequence, it is far from perfect and very rough in some instances. It is not uncommon for guns with lower serial numbers to ship months and even years after a gun with a higher number was taken out of inventory.

Thank you gentlemen for your quick responses. Someday I'll sit down and master the picture thing. I'm always going in a hundred different directions all the time and just haven't had the time or patience to figure it out. Again, Thanks!
