K Frame 45

Did Smith ever make a K frame in 45ACP ? If so I'd love to have one cause I can't stop shooting my K22 & Model 14-1. They are to two best guns I own.

I am not familiar with a factory made K-frame sized .45 ACP revolver. The Model 25 (blued steel) and Model 625 (stainless steel) are N-frame revolvers. My Model 625 has a round butt configuration, and is the same dimensions as a K-frame butt revolver. I think this is a feature only on the Model 625, and the Model 25 have an N-frame sized butt. Naturally, the barrel, frame, and cylinder are N-butt sized, and uses N-frame holsters.

Not mechanically possible to screw .45 barrel into K frame. Not enough metal
