K Frame Boot Grips

I picked up a round butt 64-3 for a project gun and want to replace the well worn Pachmayrs with a nice set of boot grips. I'd like to see your K Frame boot grips, please identify the manufacturer and type of wood in your reply...

Love my Ahrends made from cocobola (sp)! Little on the small side for a good grip shooting magnums but I don't shoot them through the 66 anymore.

They are the best grips going for max concealment IMO.

Have had MANY different grips on it over the years but these are the best for my medium sized hands. The Eagle boot grip is a great one but the checkering hung up on my shirts and liked chewing my hand up. They do make an uncheckered version but the Ahrends feel better and are a little longer for a more secure grip. Another plus is the Ahrends are about 30.00 cheaper through Brownells.

Spegals on the bottom left...not sure of the type of wood
the rest are Ahrends. i shortened the two sets on top to boot grip size. top left is Cordia wood, bottom right is Moradillo. not sure what the other is.

Anybody using Eagle Secret Service grips? They show an Ebony set on their website and I think they would look great on a polished stainless gun.

Thank you Corinto. I do highly recommend the Ahrends and do believe you'll love yours too. I had a set of the Spegals with the checkering. Wish I would have went with ladder13's or jugheads smoothies. Great looking grips. Like the Eagles with their checkering they ate my web and palm up with magnums and I have pretty tough skin. If your shooting .38 it's not a problem, but if I'm packing a .357 I load it with .357's.

These are Hogue Bantams also, but when I ordered them, I asked Hogue to slim them down and remove the finger grooves. It was a $15 custom fee at the time...

Here's another set... these are all Cocobolo.

Had the same done for my RB N-frames... Top is Pau Ferro, bottom two are Cocobolo.
