K Frame hammer nose

Do all k frame hammers with the hammer nose have a hammer nose spring?
If so, where or how is it installed?

no spring in mine. they just free wheel!

I did have a Nframe with a spring though.

all of my n's have it, none of my k's do.

My 66-3 does have the spring, so does my 586 no dash, my 19-3 does not have the spring.
