K Frame Help

I have recently acquired a .22 revolver,Model 17,ser#K3373xx. Trying to find out Date Of Manufacture?? It has a little holster wear on the sides of the barrel,original grips numbered to the gun, honest wear.

That serial number corresponds to 1958. Enjoy!

Your K-22 Masterpiece Model 17 is a relatively early Model 17. The earliest model marked K-22 that I know of has serial number K326533, and it shipped in November, 1958.

I show two .22 Combat Masterpiece revolvers (Model 18) that are near your number.
Model 18, K334814, shipped in November, 1958.
Model 18, K348276, shipped in January, 1960.

Without a records check, all we can do is put yours in that ballpark (late 1958 to early 1960). I might guess at 1959, and it would be close if not "on target."
