Are the hammers for the K frame and the L frame the same size? I know triggers are all the same.

The hammers are not dimensionally the same....L frame hammer on the left, older M&P K frame hammer on right. The L frame hammers are slightly "taller" in the area above the frame pin hole. Some components in this sub-assembly are the same, like the sear for instance.

Everything in the horizontal direction is the same in K,L & N frame. This includes trigger, rebound slide, rebound spring and cylinder stop. The mainsprings are all the same too.

Everything in the vertical direction is a different size between frames because the cylinder is either bigger or smaller in diameter, requiring longer or shorter parts to reach the center of the chamber. These include the hammer, hand and hammer block.
