I guess I'll have to be satisfied with my Combat Masterpiece-----a poor substitute for the real thing.

I sold my K22 but I have one Model 17-4 that has a 8 3/8 inch pinned barrel that shoots as accurate as a rifle and is a favorite.

I love the K-22s. Great for economical practice as stand-ins for their big brother K-frames in .38 Special and .357 Magnum. Here are my .22 LR guns - two Model 17s and a Model 18. The 18 is my "most shot" .22 revolver.

For a little more muscle, this Model 48 in .22 Magnum fills the bill.

Have a 1968 mfg 17-2 that my dad gave me on my 17th bday back in 1998 and love it. IMO the K-22 is the greatest .22 handgun ever manufactured, no question.

I have a '48 K-22 that is in shooter grade condition that I picked up last month. I had no intentions of buying a 22LR anything but it just spoke to me. It's such a neat little gun but it's not that little which is what I like most about it. If came across a really nice one I'd probably pick it up

Makes me sad every time you post that long nose K 22. Had one and sold it. They do shoot good.

Two live here. One from about 1952 and one I purchased new in early 1980. More cartridges have been fired through the long-snouted Model 17-4 than any other firearm here. It's like a little hand rifle.

Mine's a 6-inch 17-3 dating from 1972. This was a "trust me" GunBroker find for which I have no regrets! I used this for a monthly rimfire steel match until the minimum round count was increased to more than 5 for most stages. A real shooter's delight.

Well, I guess I will have to include my K-22, Shipped on my birthday 9-23-1947. It is a one liner with the LERK. 98%+ in it's original box with tools and papers. Early wax paper too. I also have a M17-3, with the 8 3/8" bbl. It is unfired and will remain so. Has 3 T's. Big Larry
