K200 Value?

Hello all.

Curious what I have here and a possible value on her. From my research I believe this to be a British service revolver (pre victory). All #'s match on the gun S/N 922xxx (5" barrel - 38 S&W) Thanks for the help.

I do believe you are correct in your assumption. She is proof stamped very nicely. A fine example.
You'll need some smooth grips for her.
Over all a very nice piece of history.
I've never seen the big "P" stamp or the 142 stamp before. Interesting.

That pre-Victory would have shipped from the factory in early 1942. The various proof markings would have been applied in the postwar period prior to release by the British government. Smooth wooden grips would have been the original type. I have no idea what the large "P" on the barrel signifies. Value (retail) would be around $350-$400 if not bored for .38 Special.
