Just picked up the above pretty cheap. It's very rough but mechanically sound. Sorry, no pic yet. I will be looking for the right stocks to replace the worn out originals and it needs refinishing. Anybody know ROUGHLY what S&W will charge for a polish and reblue? Yes, it's that rough. Will shoot a pic when I can.

Call S&W and ask for Customer Service. They will tell you the charge and if they will even do it. They don't do the same bluing process now that the gun got when new, but then neither do most other places that refinish guns, except for some speciality shops that are very expensive. Ed

Got in touch with S&W. They will not work on it. Recommended Dave Chicoine. I emailed him.

Did find out a little more though. It is a 54 or 55 k22 combat masterpiece with the standard hammer and stocks (both or either could have been upgraded to the target versions).
