My retired LEO brother sent me the attached picture of his belt. He asked if I knew why it had 3 very distinct usage creases if he hasn't lost or gained any weight over it's lifespan. Yes says I almost immediately .... "Not packing ...... packing ...... and WHAT you are packing" (Inside WB). Evidently the 9mm requires one more notch than the .380 :)

For me CCW is " situational" as where I'm going. Close to home in a small very little, no crime area is S&W 640. On the road or to JAX, Savannah or several other larger cities that have crime one of my Colt 1911 types( 45 ACP or 10 mm)Once in a while I carry my S&W 65 3". Each requires a different hole in a belt to carry. My brown and black belt have similar indentations.

LOL! My belts have similar creases and enlarged belt buckle holes but that's mostly due to changes in my waistline over the years! Thankfully, with some hard work, I'm getting back down to my fighting weight and it's much more comfortable to wear an IWB or AIWB holster again. I'm like Greyman50, and tailor my CCW to my travels. If I'm only traveling locally (very low crime areas) I put either a PC Shield Plus 9mm or Model 642-2 in my pocket in a pocket holster. For more adventurous travels, I pack either an M&P 10mm 2.0 or Model 686 Plus in OWB holsters (and/or fanny pack...don't laugh!). Sometimes I'll even throw my 12 ga. Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol in the SUV. The belt that bigmtnman posted doesn't look heavy enough to be a true gun belt...I have a couple of gun belts and they barely show any usage marks as compared to my casual leather belts.
