K22 Help

I'm looking into acquiring a Pre-17 K22 and need a little help. The serial number is K 242xxx and looks in excellent condition. What is the ballpark manufacture date (I believe it's just after WWII) and what would be a fair market price? Thanks for any help!

1955. Recently the non-model-marked K-22s have been in great demand, and prices can be steep. That is particularly true if the gun has the original box and tools. Some are being offered in the $600-700 range. If you can get this one for $500-600 you will be doing well. Less than $500 should be considered a bargain, unless the gun market in Nevada is way behind the market in, for example, California..
