K22 Outdoorsman Pinto?

Well, there are class acts---and then there are CLASS ACTS----never mind they're all scratched up, and obviously have been refinished.

There just ain't no tellin' what some folks'll do to their guns!!

Ralph Tremaine

I just thought of something else---they weigh less to boot!

Is the Dean Case kinda new? I may have seen it before, but don't remember. Being able to "house" those 2 gems in an awesome case like that is fantastic!

Richard, I forgot to write in my last post how much I love your Glenn Dean cases. To me, and I may be completely wrong, they are kinda like a fancy "Kearsarge" wooden case. I assume Mr. Dean needs your guns to make the fit perfect.

Larry:

The case is "newer". I was waiting to unveil it at a symposium when I did a display on the Outdoorsmans (38/44 and K22). I just have not got around to setting up the display (too many fun engraved guns to display). I too love the Glenn Dean cases. And yes, his inspiration was the Kearsarge case. He just takes it to a new level with modern CNC machining (still plenty of hand crafting) and an eye for details. Glenn actually does not need the gun. He sends you a case of pressure foam and you press the guns that you want cases for into the foam and ship it back to him...

... he uses the foam to make a plaster copy of the gun with perfect proportions....

...then he lays out the case on his computer...

... then the crafting begins...

...resulting in a perfectly fit case.:D

This is case for a different gun, but does a nice job of showing the process.
