K22 Year of Manufacture or Shipment?

I have just purchased a S&W K22 .22 caliber Revolver, serial number K 13023. It is in good shape. I know it was made after WWII but does anyone know the year of manufacture or shipment? Thank you.

I'm going to follow your post. I've got k-16188 a 5 screw, one line K-22 I thought was made in "48" but was told no one liners were produced that year. You'll love your 22

K 13023 likely shipped in early 1948. Yours is called the "K-22 Masterpiece."
