Thank you for admitting me to this forum. I have been trying, without luck, to find a place online to determine the manufacture date for a K32 revolver, serial number K233###. No model number.. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Thank you for that information. It is in pretty good shape. Minor holster wear at the muzzle, and one or two very minor nicks. I have been looking for one of these since about 1974. My computer doesn't have a slot for a camera card, so I will have to get someone to show me how to post a photo.

S & W has tracked a gun's age historically by its sales or ship date. Your K-32 Masterpiece falls into the 1955 production time frame but they were slow sellers, and its factory "birthday" may be months or years later.

The best way to determine its age is a letter of authenticity from the SWHF, which costs $100. I tend to obtain these for scarce guns or to confirm an unusual factory configuration.

If you take pics with your phone you can email them to yourself, and then open the email on your computer and save the photos in a folder on your computer.
From there the video tutorial WireGrassGuy posted will help you upload them to one of your posts.

My K32 serial number 233627 shipped in November 1955

I also have K32 serial number 233560 which shipped in December of 1955

Yours could be 1955 or 1956.
