Kangaroo Carry...

I have seen quite a few recommendations for the Kangaroo Carry, looked at maybe a 1/2 dozen videos on u tube, all of the video clips on the Kangaroo Carry site, and it looks for a number of reasons that it will work for me. But.. what I haven't seen is people who have said they use it mostly every day, no long term reviews, it's almost like the old commercial "let Mikey try it, he'll eat anything". It's not a lot of money, but I don't like the idea of a drawer full of holsters. It's also the slow time of year for me and I'm not feeling real flush, so humor me... Pocket, IWB, OWB, and ankle are out for me 95% of the time, and I wear button down shirts with a T shirt underneath 95% of the time. I'll probably order one in the next week or 2 anyway, but I'm getting to value quite a few of ya'alls opinions the more I hang out here!

I have one. Never use it. It's at the bottom of the proverbial "holster drawer".

My problem with it? In order to get the band situated tight enough to safely carry a pistol in a snug position, I couldn't breathe. It's like someone was holding me in a bear hug all day. YMMV.

Radar, Which model? Which handgun? (don't tell me 12 guage) If it's the Standard II in medium I'd be interested in getting a used one if it might end up in the proverbial drawer...

The trouble with carrying kangaroos is that they tend to kick a lot.


Seriously, I bought one, never liked it and now it's in the "holster drawer" with some of my other "seemed like a good idea at the time" purchases.

Been a while, but as I recall, mine was the Standard II in a large. Tried it with a Sig P290 compact 9mm and a S&W Bodyguard 380.
