to start, no I don't have any of his beautiful grips. this is just a heads up if anyone is wanting any. john taffin's article in the new handgunner magazine features mr. brown's grips and shows several examples. so if the wait time to get grips from him wasn't long enough, it will get worse now that the rest of the shooting world knows about this craftsman. he should be busy for years now, if he wasn't already.

Keith came to the NE Ohio bunch a couple times, what a nice down to earth person. He had 2 sets of non checkered targets, 1 for a K frame and 1 for the N frame both in exhibition grade wood. Asked if I could take them out in the sun and look at them and the wood grain danced in both sets. Thank goodness I had enough on me to buy both sets. The decision was harder in the sun, it made the choice impossible. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I also have a set of KB Ropers, he is an artist in wood. Larry

perazzi, I believe you are absolutely correct. I was suprised that Mr. Taffin apparently only recently learned about Keith Brown's grips. Keith made me a set of Cokes in 2010, and it took a few months then. Now?

BTW, a similar thing happened years ago when Bar-Sto started making barrels for the FN/Browning Hi Power pistol. I ordered one. The next week an article appeared in a gun magazine. My barrel, that was supposed to take 3-4 weeks IIRC, actually took 6 months. When my barrel didn't arrive on schedule, I called Bar-Sto and they confirmed they'd been swamped due to the magazine article...
