How can you not love Elmer Keith?
Anyone has experience with his long-range sight? The one with the three gold bars. I have never seen one. Mr. Keith mentioned that S&W sold revolvers with this sight. I venture to say that they are R-A-R-E.

While not exactly the same
I had magnaport make this when they had my mountain revolver

Very nice! So with either green fill even with the top of the rear notch, does the green completely fill the notch? I like it.

How does it work in the field? I think that very few people today actually shoot at the distances that Elmer Keith did. Think running yotes at 125 yards. I believe your sight is what Elmer Keith called a Baughman (look up Wiley Clapp for history). The advantage was not snagging on the draw from your holster vs. a Patridge style. Thanks for sharing.
