keltec PMR 30

Why would you have issues with paying over $300 for a rimfire? Does it take less resources to manufacture a rimfire? If it takes the same resources to manufacture a rimfire as it does a centerfire, I never understood why rimfires were cheaper in the first place.

Grew up buying almost any .22lr rifle or pistol for under $150,
and I'm only 45. :)

Cracked the $300 mark twice...once on a Calico pistol,
the other on a Grendel R-31 rifle...both at $350...but well worth it :)
100 rounds per mag (Calico) & 30 per mag (Grendel) seemed a
fair enough option to warrant the extra cash...

The rest of my collection has been fairly inexpensive...under two bills...
pawn shops & Yard sales providing the vast majority of items...

My centerfire collection has a general $500 limit, but most have cost me far less than that...
the most expensive so far being the Glock 20 w/5 mags at $500 couple years ago...
10mm with five mags?? Yeah, I can justify that :)
second most expensive being my S&W CS45 at $450 this year...
the rest have been picked up between $200-300...and that includes a Luger :D

There are literally millions of guns out there...and always folks willing to part with 'em
when cash gets short, or lack of interest, or when convictions cause fast sales...
Plus, I love to fix beat-up/broken/rusty old guns...I'll take a beater
and turn it into a nice shooter, on my budget it works :)

And there are so many nice pistols & rifles out there waiting for a new home...
most just need a little Fluff & Buff and Tweaking to reach their potential...
heck, same could be said for a lot of more expensive 1911's ;)

So I'll remain a cheapskate, and have all the fun stuff I want!!

Cheapskate is the wrong term, I would use Smart!! Why pay msrp + when a little searching can provide the same item at a significant saving, I can always use the money for more ammo! Be Safe,
