Years back I acquired two Kershaw stamped hunting knives that were inscribed 'Dan W Harrison" on the left side and '0556' (both) on right side. They both have antler handles with one having 3.5" blade and the other 5" blade. Both handles had a small lengthwise crack which I filled with JB weld long ago (look nice). Was wondering if these knives have any value other than a Kershaw hunting knife and if the number '0556' numbers them as a set. Don't know much about knives and wondered if any interest in them.

Dan Harrison is one of the top knife makers in the country.

Proud of East Texas: Dan Harrison's knives

He has a web-site with his email. I would write him and ask.

Handcrafted Custom Knives: Hunting, Fighting & Collector Knives | Harrison Custom Knives
I confess, I did check a several years ago and didn't find out much. I don't remember then, finding an informative web site, maybe added in last few years.
Thanks for the suggestion, and I did send an email inquiring about the 2 knives. Got curious about the 2 knives after locating them in a far corner of the safe and had almost forgotten about them, just thought someone here might have an interest in his knives or familiar with them.

I have met him at several knife shows in the past..super nice man. You don’t need to confess anything, I was glad to help! I am a computer idiot and need all the help I can get researching. I had his card so it was easy to pull up. I bet your knives are very valuable.
