Kershaw Dividend Composite Blade

I took a break from collecting Case pocket knives and bought a Kershaw Dividend assisted opening knife from an EBay seller in Texas. This knife features light weight and a composite blade with N690 steel on the upper portion and CMP D2 on the lower. I have never owned a knife with a blade like this; very unique design and made in the US.

Kershaw has been making great blades for many years. I have a Kershaw assisted opening 1660CKT that I have been carrying since 2006. Perfect size and blade configuration. Not any multi steel, but just good solid knife.

Kershaw makes respectable knives but a composite blade is news to me. Give us a 6 month follow up please.

I will. A composite blade is new stuff to me. Not sure what process is used to join the two types of steel. I have a smaller US-made Kershaw that I have carrying for years.

Sounds like a gimmick.........Why not just use the good steel for the whole blade.......It's not that big.
