Key Mod Hand Guards

Putting an AR handguard on a 15-22 is not the norm.

Not the norm eh Jim? :p

I have already decided that after everything else has been done to my 15-22....the very last thing to do will be to put on one of those fancy Diamondhead handguards...unless i see another one that appeals in the time between. For me the Diamondhead one is stunning to look at and very light and comfortable according to reviews. It means its a permanent marriage though as you have to adapt the rifle to fit it.

long time off yet though

Anyone familiar with the key mod hand guard and rails made by Omega Mfg. or Vector Optics?
Would like some imput!!

Thanks!

I have one made by Omega Mfg. on my AR15 and like it. Price was reasonable for me. Fit and finish were good. Weight is decent. I'm not sure how it would be on an M&P 15-22. Its the one on the bottom with the Bushnell scope on it.

Nice bullets hoses...but I agree with Jim it's not the norm. Instead of making my 15-22 "oooooooooooh aaaaaaaaaaaah" range commando Tacticool I bet I spent way less buying what I consider useful items - like suppressors:

Yes, each to his own. So why constantly post negative comments? Every time I see a post like this your name is next to it.

Suppressed SBR 22's with magnified optics aren't useful to everyone either, but I won't publicly **** on your rifle or choices.

I agree Gopher Slayer, I kinda like my Daniel Defense MFR rail. It matches the one on my DD DDM4V7 5.56, except for color. I added a Sparc II, Hogue grip, Plinker, and Rogers Super Stock after this picture was made.
