Yours appears to be what is known as a King "double cockeye" hammer. I believe that it was the inspiration for S&W's combat/target hammers. Nice gun!

Very Nice Revolver but I have a question!
I notice an additional main spring or something on top of the main spring, sorry to be so dense but what is it? Also a "King" upgrade treatment? Thanks.

Double main spring

Me too. I wonder why this double spring. Old post, I know...
And in post #2: are the grips Sanderson, I'm right? Very nice series of pictures, I see the best of the best in my opinion.
