We wanted to take one of our two outside cats to the vet today. I figured I had a 50/50 chance of catching the right one. I guess I figured wrong.

Years ago we had a raccoon under our house, so I got a live trap, baited it with a PB&J sandwich, and put it under our porch. The next morning I heard meowing, and when I checked the trap, our cat was in it. And he had eaten the entire sandwich!

Possums are handy, unless you have chickens. If not, they eat poisonous snakes, disease spreading ticks, and fire ant larvae. I leave them alone. Plus, buzzards gotta eat also when the possums linger in the road too long.

There used to be Duck Billed Platypus. Now there is Truck Killed Flataposs. Sadly, they are all extinct.
