Knew Knife

Went to the Oregon Knife Show in Eugene, saw my kids, visited the local gun range, ate, drank...and bought a knife. Made by Rocco Chicarilli of Spanaway WA, the handle is dyed, stabilized lacewood with blue spacers and the steel is D2. Shiny!

I asked how he got such a shiny finish, he said he just grinds away the non shiny bits...

Love the shape of that blade; very functional and comfortable to use.

That is a VERY nice looking knife, and made as a working knife, not a collector's knife.

I have NEVER seen D2 polished that well; I didn't know it was possible.

I also was at the show in Eugene and scored a couple of Christmas gifts and also bought a Benchmade 5500 mini-auto presidio for me.
