I will appreciate your input on the value of these two knives.

Smith & Wesson S. W. A. T. (on blade), One hand opening design. Blade length 3.75" from front of handle. Overall length (open) 8.5". Gray metal handle with two textured rubber-like inserts on each side. Belt clip on handle. Condition is as new.

Smith & Wesson, U. S. A., MILITARY ISSUE (on one side of blade); FIRST PRODUCTION RUN on other side, Automatic opening design ("switchblade"). Blade length 4.0" from front of handle. Overall length (open) 9.5". Black handle---weight of knife suggests it's metal (appearance is as plastic). Belt clip on handle. Condition is as new.

Box is blue w/white lettering. Various text as follows: Smith&Wesson Law Enforcement-Military, ARMED FORCES ONLY, Manufactured By Taylor Cutlery, Official Licensee Of Smith & Wesson Corp. White label w/red lettering on one end says SW-1000----and says it's sharp! Box contains red plastic liner finished with fuzzy stuff (by whatever more proper name it might be known). Condition is scruffy---but all there/all together/no structural damage.

Many thanks!!

Ralph, Pls. post some pictures of the knives. Then I can go back through my S&W knife catalogs ( and Taylors ) and look them up for you. That's assuming these are S&W cataloged knives. Taylor makes many different knives with S&W logos, etc. for selection and S&W marketing decides on which ones to put in the catalogs and sell as S&W authorized knives. Ed.

Ralph, Your knife was offered in both the serrated blade and a non-serrated blade, and in two sizes. Yours is the smaller pocket size. Ed.
