Kodiak Bear Attack Stopped with a .22!

Amazing tale of courage and resourcefulness...and speaks volumes to the power of the .22 when in the right hands.
P.S. - I know there's a spelling error in the news report, but I didn't write it.

Nah! There is no spelling mistake. That is a "Kodak moment".:D

Edit. And that is not an "old joke". The "old joke" was with a .25 not a .22.:D

Reminds me of a buddy that was a scuba instructor. We always laughed at newbies on their first ocean dive. They'd show up with 6" or better "shark" knives strapped to the their leg or upper arm. Boyd would show them his 2" blade & explain how he'd cut them & their air hose and swim away.

There's a similar, and similarly old, joke in diving that you don't need a big dive knife to fight off a Great White shark, you just need a small one to cut your buddy so the shark goes after him rather than you.

That joke's older 'n I am.

The exact same one's somewhere on this forum except it's about alligators.
