I lucked into a Kramer belt scabbard for my 5" 625 on the big auction sight last night. As you probably know 5" full lug holsters aren't exactly a dime a dozen on the used market and I'd been looking for some time.

Anyone have experience with Kramer? I perused their website and it looks like they make good stuff but I've never seen one in person. I assume from reading their sight that it's horsehide and I imagine that will mean it's near indestructible if my horsehide belt is any indication.

Kramer makes top quality holsters and belts. Yes, their horsehide models are very durable.

I have a horsehide belt scabbard for a 4" N-frame, I like the full-frame coverage for field use. This is a horsehide vertical scabbard, love this one too:

There will be more horsehide Kramers in my future, I tend to be loyal when I find something I really like.

I'll have to post a picture when it arrives. It doesn't look like any that you guys have posted. It has "ears" for lack of a better term, that cover everything up to the stocks. And no reinforcing band stitched around the mouth like some of the above. Maybe it's an older rendering, who knows, I'm just glad to have found a 5" full lug N frame holster for $50.

I have the same holster from Dillon as 520 fan. My first Kramer. I have a bunch more now. Love the MSP Paddle for EDC. I have bought like 5 used off different sites with no issues. It is like leather kydex so well molded and secure. You'll love it.

I'll chime in with an accolade too.

I've been wearing a Kramer for my 3" Model 60 for several years now on a daily basis. It is as tight now as the day I bought it. Best CCW holster that I've owned to date.

In my opinion Kramer makes one of the very best leather holsters out there. I used to live not far from where they are located in Tacoma and pick up my orders in person. A small family shop that prides itself on quality. There's usually a bit of a wait but it's well worth it.

Hello,
I personally own 2 Kramer holsters, a pocket holster for my m.60 and a paddle holster for my Beretta 92FS, and I couldn't be happier.

Have had my pocket holster for over a year, it has been phenomenal.
Had the paddle holster for several years, it was a gift from my father. He has a soft spot for Beretta handguns and shotguns. It has seen many range days, as well as a handful of formal black attire outings.

Kramer Gun Leather is a fantastic outfit, their gear is GOOD TO GO!!!

Figured I'd update this since I received and have been using my holster. The poster who said "leather Kydex" was right, this thing pretty much snaps onto the gun. The first few times I wore it it was so tight it was a two hand affair to get the revolver out but it seems to have loosened up some with use, I drew and fired one handed twice last week and killed two snakes! I still haven't seen another like it but I don't really care, I really like everything about it.

Kramer products, especially horsehide are about as good as it gets! I have a number of them and they still look new....

The MSP paddle holster to me is the finest paddle holster made by anyone.

Randy

Count me as a Kramer fan. I have one that is at least 20 years old now and still kicking!

Here is my EDC rig with the Commander. I recently got the same outfit for a HK p7m13, but I don't have photos if it yet.

If holster is still too tight and you didn't get the instruction sheet with it - Kramer recommends wrapping gun in zip lock bag that it comes in and inserting in holster overnight. But it will mold to gun pretty quick especially if you are carrying / using. Mine show no signs of fit loosening up like cowhide can after extensive use (I'm the guy with the Leather Kydex comment). Only exterior scuffs from carrying - a little shoe polish and buff good as new.
Here are a couple more Kramer's 😊
