I had an opportunity years ago to purchase one of the U.S. Customs trade-ins when they transitioned from their round butt 686 3" revolvers to their DAO 6946 (?) and I am still kicking myself over 16 years later. That 686 3" would have been a keeper! Oh well, live and learn.
