Added: How About A L/H Accessories Forum?


About six months ago, due to vagaries of fate, I had 3 L/H Remora no-clip holsters for L frame 686s. Model was 8C for all small L frames up to 3"



I ended up swapping two of them for a small box of 45 ACP at a lgs. That was okay.

Today I am thinking I could have swapped them off on the forum (if I had belonged) for some other L/H holster that I would have liked to have. For instance I could use a IWB for a 4" L frame now.

How do you lefties (ambidextrous members also) feel about having a thread, don't know which forum, where you could swap out the rigs you don't need for one that you do? I can't think of any other left handed weapon related items for hand guns. Can you?

Excellent Idea, I'm left handed and could use an inside or outside the pants holster for a J frame and it would be nice to be able to have a place to look.

I know every time I see a lefty holster listed for sale here it's gone before I can react to the ad!

It would also be nice if there was a source for info on "who makes what" in left handed. I get annoyed when I see a rig I'd like that gets great reviews but isn't available in LH!

Me too. Lefthand stuff moves out fast. A lefthand forum would probably move it out faster. I have a 3inch 624 RH holster listed for trade right now. What do I want? A LH 624 holster of course!

This thread has got me to thinking I may have a couple duty holsters for autos downstairs I could list. Why didn't I think of this First?

Some of the gun websites have a left handed gun section, why not have something here?

I think it's a great idea. The only time I ever find LH holsters in stock it's because it's on clearance. Get lucky that way sometimes; found a nice RGrizzle horsehide pancake for my Shield not long ago. I just hate going to Gander where there is an entire gondola full of holsters and NOT ONE MODEL is for lefties.

I too would like to see a leftie section. In particular I've been searching for an old style upside down shoulder holster for my EDC J frames (if anyone has one PM me pls.). Like others have said, when I do see something advertised for a leftie it is usually gone before I can react.

Still Not Seeing LH Holsters For Sale!

I thought the good responses to this thread would generate more action. We lefties need to help ourselves. Please, if you have a LH holster laying around gathering dust put it up for sale or trade.

I still like the idea of asking the powers-that-be for a forum for LHers where we could buy, sell or trade. They might say yes'

For example I am wanting IWB & OWB rigs for 3" frames. But I might already have that post way back in the 434 WTB post.

I would rather buy or trade with a member than buy new.
