LA Sheriffs Dept dropping M&P9?...

The bottom line is that every manufacture are and or have had problems so it seems. One thing the demand is so high from law enforcement and civilians that QC seems to be a little short in some case perhaps causing a batch (lot) give or take a few, seem to get by with a few problems.

Also humans are making these thing, that is one problem right there. As for demand, I go to Gun Broker's site about 3-4 times a week. I will enter a specific make and or model of handgun to check prices and availability.

Last year I would do a search on Gun Broker and would have to narrow my search to, make, model, caliber and barrel length in order to keep from sifting through countless listing. Now you enter lets say you search for"M&P" and now you get about 2 pages,.

Same way with Buds and some of the other big time online gun stores. Conduct a search for "Glock" of any other manufacture and its OUT OF STOCK, OUT OF STOCK,OUT OF STOCK,OUT OF STOCK, and so on. Same with ammo.

You go to your favorite restaurant that is normally great. Go when it is really, really booming and something is going to be lacking somewhere, food, services, etc.

I had been trying to call Sig Sauer and never could get through after a few weeks and gave up, same with Taurus. We are buying and stock piling guns and ammo as well as law enforcement's needs, thus creating this problems perhaps to some degree?
