Lady Smith 3913 out of layaway

Finally I got this Lady Smith out of layaway. It has a serial number of VJA 92XX, I am looking for it's approximate date. It included 2 mags, the manual, registration(never sent in) carrying case and warranty card. It appears unfired.Was this Lady Smith issued with a box and carrying case? I paid $650 OTD including taxes at a local Pawn Shop. Was it a fair price at today's prices? Anything I should know about maintenance or ammo selection?

3913LS VJA36xx dates to early 1994; 4056TSW VJA94xx dates to 11/1996. but you r best bet is to ask SW on Monday at [email protected]
