I have just acquired a Ladysmith 66-4 and would like to know something about it as I can not find any information on it. Have a great day....It is a great day in the Ozarks. Maybe it should be Lady smith 66-4.

Welcome! Can you describe the gun (caliber, barrel length, cylinder capacity, fixed or adjustable rear sight)? The Ladysmiths were models 36, 60, 65 and 642 (at least) but I don't think a 66 was made.

This gun is stamped with a 66. It is a lady smith so I assume that it is a lady smith 66- 4 because of the stamp on the gun.

I stand corrected...the standard reference lists it. Model 66-4, stainless steel, six-shot .357, 2.5" barrel, produced 1996, listed as "limited production". Are you able to post a photo?

Somebody may be able to shed more light on the number manufactured.
The Standard Catalog of S&W only states that it was a "limited run."

66-4 LadySmith

It's quite possibly an error on the owners part..Maybe the 65 3 inch gun?
If so,it's prelock and 6 shot,fixed rear sights.....and a neat gun!

In order to prevent any confusion, as stated above, there was a M66 "Ladysmith" manufactured in 1996.
