The show was crowded. There were more S&W's than I had seen in many years. Several Model 17 K22's 8 3/8" blue around $575. Several 41Magnums.
Also at least 8 Colt SAA 22/22Mag, more than I have ever seen in a single show. Most priced around $475. Lots of AR platform rifles.
Three sellers got hard of hearing when I mentioned their $900 guns looked re-blued.
There were a couple of almost mint triple-locks in the $2500 to $3000 range.
Another 44 Special was tagged Triple Lock $3000. Seller claimed it was a consignment gun that had been hard chromed. I mentioned it looked refinished because the hammer and trigger were also chromed and the "S" prefix serial number dated it to about 1946-1950, making it a post war transition, not a Triple Lock. Let the buyer beware.
I did pick up a HE 1905 3rd 4" blue, marked 32 WCF (32-20). It had a lot of wear and did not have original grips. It was very tight and had a good bore and action. I think $230 OTD was ok for a 98 year old shooter.
