Larry Potterfield book

Anyone else just get an unexpected, unordered, copy of Larry's book of stories?
Not something I would buy but I'll probably read it.
It's a well made hardcover and I cannot find anything about it in my account history.
So it looks like they just sent it to me out of the blue.
I can't be the only one as I have not bought anything from Midway this year (yet).
I do maintain a decent wish list however.

I'd read it, but I would not buy it. I bet he has some interesting stories to tell. I've been a Midway customer since pre-Internet days. I always thought Midway was a good company to deal with. I found better deals elsewhere at times, but I ended up buying from them many times. I do not ever remember being upset over a deal I did with them, and I remember getting a lot of good deals.

Larry Potterfield could teach many companies more than a little bit about customer service. Midway USA shipping is as good as any company I've done business, and lightyears ahead of most. Not the cheapest but quite possibly the best!

I got one. Look inside the front cover. There should be a note saying that the book is a token of appreciation for being a good customer.

I just did just that!
Maybe he needs the warehouse space or realized the book was going to take 100 years to sell out.
Anyway it's a nice gesture especially since I have not bought anything this year.
Ironically a couple of books are next in my queue.
I (or the wife) would not want to know how much I have spent there total over the years.

I buy from Midway on occasion and have for 10+ years. I have never had a bad experience with them.

I've done business with them since they were mail order. Only had one problem in all that time. I ordered 500 308 Winchester brass and got 250. The customer service rep came real close to implying I was trying to pull a fast one and get an extra 250. It rubbed me the wrong way and I quit doing business with them for a while.

Jeez, I order from Midway a couple times a month and Larry didn't send me one!
Guess he figured I don't need any more encouragement...
