I just found this on Ebay:

Can you spot a "slight" issue with this?

I guess as long as you don't plan to shoot it, reload, or do any of the other thing you do with a gun, it will work. Just think you could use it as a laser pointer and give presentations with it.

Ya mean, other than it's a display mockup, not a real handgun? And it probably would come off the first time ya fired it?
Cordially, Jack

Gonna have a heck of a time ejecting empty cases.

Gonna be a bitch packing it IWB

Maybe the marketing company mounted it wrong for the photo session, it's probably supposed to be mounted on top of the barrel, no worries then with ejecting empties.... :D

Maybe they had the wrong test revolver for the shot, should have been a top break.....

sad thing is, SOMEONE somewhere has tried to mount that thing on a J frame...and wonders why it won't work like it does in the picture...

Well, I found it on the manufacturer's website. It is actually mounted backwards in the Ebay pic:

With that said, an accessory rail on a J frame? Seriously?
Then again the same company also sells this, which would look "AWESOME" on a 340...... ...or not.

Shooting and slicing cheese with the same implement.....hard to go wrong there.

:D

I see the problem,..... they should have put a front sight on the side of it so you can shoot holding the gun sideways..... :)

It's mounted properly in the eBay picture, if it was on backwards you'd see the cut out for the ejector rod on the wrong side. I really can't see anything wrong with it, other than aesthetically. If you can't afford laser grips, and just have to have a laser on your J frame, I suppose that would be the way to do it.

Well, no. On the Ebay pic it's mounted to the ejector rod. Which means the rod cannot turn, the gun cannot cycle or fire, and if you can get it open you cannot eject.
I cannot see a laser attached this way holding zero, and as far as being able to carry a J frame with that contraption attached to it...

A bayonet on a pistol :-)

Honestly, of all the hair brained marketing schemes for Rambo minded , delusional , pirate wanna bees.....................Jeez

Next thing ya know, they'll have a grate that mounts in front of the muzzle that cuts your bullet into buckshot as it exits the gun. Maybe you could cut the bullet in two by mounting the bayonet at an upward angle, and get two hits for one. Certainly, the bayonet will help steady the pistol at contact distance. Just stick it in and fire. Reduces muzzle flip, and ensures tight grouping. Good grizzly hunting tool. Lure them in by smearing your body with salmon oil, and empty the magazine into the beast while it licks the salmon off your face like a puppy.

I think the pistol also needs a bipod and shoulder stock. The best bet would be to simply manufacture the entire exterior of the pistol with rails, so it looked like a railed AR15 forend with a pistol grip sticking out of the bottom and a muzzle sticking out of the end. Maybe this thread should go in the "Wish List" forum.

There we go, just the perfect attachment for the J frame accessory rail (and yes, it does exist, not a photoshop job...):
