As my friend Rusty would say, wot's all this then?

A pretty little .32/20 in the case at Cabelas.

The by-product of the ending of all crime in Colorado is a very inconvenient three day wait. And Cabelas doesn't count the first day, so Tuesday.

This poor thing is covered in the greasy fingerprints of the great unwashed, but it will clean up nicely. In anticipation of the "its reblued" hue and cry I will say now - nope, its not. The grips are perfect too.

Serial number is 59629. Any info as to its age?

See ya in 2024!

Somting wong here. That's a steal price.

Last time bought a classic S&W for $299 at Cabellas it was mismarked. I had a heck of a time getting the deal sealed because their computer had problems. I was insistent I wanted it and waited and waited. Turned out it was $1299, but they had to sell it to me because of the price tag.

I wonder if the kid that made up the tag got fired.....

Great revolver for even better price. The steal of the month for sure. 👍👍
It looks to me to be between 1915-1920 so over 100 years old. I sure other M&P fans will be able to give a closer date.
Really a great deal seems to me.

I also ended this year with a buy from Cabela's...Mine shipped from Minnesota today, so I expect to take it home Tuesday also (no wait, no BG check here with my CHL)...That .32-20 you snagged is righteous at that price...:D...Ben

I have a 4" gun. It lettered in 1914. Sorry, I don't recall the month and I don't have access to my letter at this time. My serial # is pretty close to yours.

1913 is a likely ship year. I show three of them relatively close to that number that shipped in 1913. The closest one to your serial number shipped in December of that year and is a target model.

That's about the time that .32 W.C.F. started showing up on the barrel. 59043 still has .32 Winchester on the barrel.

Dino's appears to have a Wondersight on it - originally it was a fixed sight unit, like yours.

I carried mine for 25 years.

Awesome package Sir. I don't carry any of mine. Just occasional range trips. 1, P220 SAS two tone, 1, P220 Nickel full size, 1, P220 SAS Compact, 1, P227 SAS, and 2 P245's one black and one two tone. None of mine have rails. I am still looking for the right P220 full size in black. Thank you for your dedication to service, both military and LE!

I'm still awaiting the arrival of a box of .32/20s from the internets,
but I found a baggie of .32 S&W Longs and gave that a go today. It actually shot pretty well at 20 yards.

After reading this thread I went to Cabelas just for laughs. They had 3 long guns and about 5 handguns. The cabinets were mostly all bare
