Were any Remington Rand’s used in Korea?

Sure were and up until the M1911A1 was taken completely out of service. As long as a M1911A1 was functional it was an issue item. All makes, Remington Rand, Ithaca, Colt, US&S etc..... When no longer functional they were rebuilt into a serviceable weapon.
