While I have had this one for a while, I just added the Hogue single finger-groove kingwood monogrip..

And I picked up this 4" version to keep my 3" one company. Same grip specs, but in a conversion style...

These are both 686-6's, but if you note the barrel rollmark, these are chambered in .38 S&W Special. Export contract overruns, but not the same contract as they are years apart in production.

I have always liked the looks of Hogue Stocks with the grip caps on them. Kinda of classy looking. Bob
 
Yes, I agree on the like for Hogue stocks. I have 3 sets of similar Hogue stocks for my revolvers. I have never really had an issue with the Hogue finger grooves because they happen to fit my hand well, but obviously they won't for everybody. One of my set of stocks is exactly like the ones shown but they are a no finger groove model and are in Pau Ferro and I really like them. I will show a picture but they are, God forbid, on a Ruger GP100. :ROFLMAO: IMG-3579.webp
