Model39

First, I know there is not much interest or collector's value in Model 659's, however this is an interesting gun, and to coin the phrase, "The price was right".
This is an "A" series "Bangor Punta" production round trigger guard 659, which has a Red Ramp front sight, and a 2 dot white fixed rear RT sight. (The sight is named after a factory employee's initials who invented this sight in the service department). The gun also has dull/matt grips, and a dull/matt curved backstrap to match. The box and paperwork that came with this gun are dated from 1982. The best guess, from the features present on it, is that this is an unused police gun which was traded away when new guns were purchased.
"Side Note" I recently bought a presentation box on eBay for $37 which was supposed to be for two Model 39's, which it wasn't, but lucky for me, the Model 659, and Model 645 I bought last year, both fit in the case perfectly, and as you can see they compliment each other very well.
*Special Note* I would like to thank fellow forum & SWCA member snw19 357 (Chris), for sharing his knowledge in helping me with this Model 659.
