Haven't post anything for a while, been busy but I thought I'd show this as it's a thing I haven't seen first hand before.
Found this box in the last auction. First time I've seen one for sale anywhere. Must be a lot of things coming out of stashes now a days.
Anyways it's a nice accessory for my model 3. I've made a bunch using 32-20 brass and 32 cal. round balls and the old gun shoots pretty good.

Hi Don thanks for showing them. Those are nice, I could only hope to see ether of those other ones.
Ted

I bought most of my rare ammo years ago. A fellow collector twisted my arm into buying boxes of ammo for revolvers I didn't have at the time. Now, I'm glad he did.

I wanted some empty ammo boxes just for show here in the UK but cannot get any. I did find one empty box on UK Ebay but the chap wants £45.00 plus £6.85. Thats some price for an empty box. So, I made my own, capturing the old labels from various sites , installing some old fonts and making new ones to print onto coloured paper.
There not perfect ,and I dont think I have the box sizes right but they will do for me. I do like the designs of these old boxes.

Just finished the label and printed them off on both white and blue paper. There not perfect and getting the exact fonts is proving very difficult, but for show they will do. I noticed an empty cardboard ammo box the other day on one of the sales sites for £72. The box on Ebay is still up for sale at £51.85.
