Group of guys I used to shoot rifles with out in the desert would find a cheap, self-propelled used mower and bring it out. We'd pound a steel stake in the ground, hook a chain to the stake, hook the other end to the mower and fire it up. Mower would go around and around. We'd shoot at it off-hand at 200 or so yards. It seemed pretty entertaining at the time.

Too much disposable income!? We are a wasteful country and destructive. Just let Chris Matthews or some other left-wing media jackass see this and he will prime the pump about irresponsible gun owners. $200-$250 or more mower and a $1000 revolver that shoots $40-$50 per box ammo. This is just plain sickening.

Unfortunate for the gun owners of the world that three-five-seven's comment in dead on-as was the shootist is the video.
I once literally wrapped a gas trimmer around a tree in my yard after the spool flew off one too many times striking me in the shin. Darn thing kept running. I couldn't get it loose from the tree so I smashed it with a hammer. Neighbor was laughing his butt off. Thank goodness this was before cell phone video or I'd be on the net today.

I guess a man is no longer allowed to do with his own property as he sees fit. It looked like a good fun way to dispose of unsafe equipment to me.

Since it was a greenhouse gas belching machine... Eco-freindly ought to be celebrating. I say let Chris Mathews interview the anti-gun and ecologically-minded to see how they fight this one out..... meanwhile I'll be at the range.
