Leading?

Found this after the last trip to the range. Will try to scrape off with some old brass before seeing if it happens next time.
Seems odd to me the lead would accumulate in just one quadrant of the barrel.
Hoping it's not the timing.

Get a LEWIS LEAD REMOVER KIT from Brownells. They are not expensive, won't harm your gun if properly used and works fast and incredibly well. I would also get the conversion kit for use on .45 if you shoot that as well.

BUT SAVE YOUR MONEY. NEXT TIME AT THE SUPERMARKET BUY A COPPER "CHORE BOY" POT SCRUBBER, CLIP THE ENDS OPEN AND CUT A PIECE AND WRAP IT AROUND A WORN BORE BRUSH. NO SOLVENT, NO NOTHING. 4 OR 5 PASSES AND IT WILL ALL BE GONE. THE 2 CHORE BOY IN THE PACK WILL LAST YOU YEARS. FOR A BUCK. JIM P

I wasn't concerned about removing a bit of lead.
