Its a 1 MOA dot.

Scuds, if I'm not mistaken it is a 5 MOA dot, not a 1 MOA dot. It's a 1x power - no magnification.

HalfSwiss, You may be right, I am not 100% sure on dot size because it isnt on the box or any of the documents. The dot is the same width as the front sight post. Yes it has no magnification its 1x.

I wouldn't use leapers on anything with heavy recoil. I had one of their 5th Gen 3-9X40 with milDot and red/green lighted reticle on my 8 mm Mauser and after 30 rounds the main internal lens became free floating and ended up turned sideways against the objective lens.

Well....son was really excited as anticipated with his new 15/22.

The red-green sight was a hit, too.

We made it out to the hunting club today where he put 400 rounds through it pretty swiftly. All were Federal Bulk pack. We had 3 FTF on first rounds and I suspect they were on magazines he stuffed too full.

He shot way better than I expected...here he is wearing out a Sprite Zero bottle.

I'm eagerly awaiting him getting to the point where I can back away and let him run it himself. That will free me up to run a second 15/22. We need some good spinning targets.
