I refuse to pay any attention to NBA basketball, and couldn't possibly care less about James.
I like the college game, but can't bring myself to follow the NBA.

Zagged, I am like you. However, I seem to have been bombarded with all this useless information everytime I turn on a car radio, tv, computer, et al.
With all the issues we have as a nation I believe folks are more interested in who got kicked off of Dancing with Stars than they are the real issues.
Case in point "Lebron".

Just can't find a good reason to get all worked up over these people, regardless of what game they play. If they actually did anything worthwhile, it'd be different. But all they do is fiddle around with grown up versions of the games kids play. Hard to take such stuff seriously, regardless of who played or plays it.

LeBron is a beautiful example of the (too often encountered) pro athlete of today. I couldn't care less about the NBA, and after all his crapola, care even LESS. Let's not forget that he is (unfortunately) an example for the youth of today...brings to mind the old shot at Reggie Jackson, "There's not enough ketchup in the world for that hot dog." :-(

The only thing I wanted to know was if he stayed in Miami or left and that has been answered.We'll have to wait until next year to see if Cleveland made the right decision.For the package LeBron got I don't think he cares where he plays.

Hi G, me again. BTW, I understand the correct pronunciation for that city is CORdoba, and not CorDOba, as Montalban was forced to pronounce it. SCTV did a great spoof of Montalban combining these ads with his portrayal on Fantasy Island.

Anything to divert people's minds from the genuine issues and problems. I loved watching athletes much greater than James perform, but I could not have cared less what they did off the field/court.
And even though I'm a solid Yankee fan, I'm getting tired of these "retirement tours" such as those last year of Mariano Rivera and presently Derek Jeter.
