I got the new Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure today. I was notified it was in stock at Titian Reloading on Thursday so I ordered it and received it this morning. It is similar to the Lee Perfect powder measure, this will fit on a turret press and not be in the way. It does require you to first to measure out the amount of the desired load them pour it into the powder measure and then make your adjustment. (the manual should be online at Titian Reloading web site)>

I seems to work well I set it up to measure 7.9 grains of AA#5 for 45ACP. after the adjustments to fine tune it; it dropped the 7.9 grains consistently for 10 drops. I am impressed with the powder measurer, I have used Lee's disk and powder bar and the Lee Perfect Powder Measure. With the exception of the perfect measure everything else was anywhere from .1 to .4g. off. the new measure appears to be right on. You will need the raiser for the turret press.

Check it out at Titian Reloading, they have a full inventory of Lee presses and parts. I do not own the company just a customer that likes the store and there service.

yes that's the one. its able to fit on the thru the die powder die, you will need the riser. from my limit test 10 drops were all right on 7.9 grains.

do you have to press the disconnect button on the side of the measure for every case you charge??

Yes that's the case for SS and turret presses.

It's not the case for the 550B and the other progressive presses as it has a chain link reset with each cycling of the ram.

Thanks

Well then it's not for me,:( I am not gonna stop and push a button every round, the disc system is more convenient(faster) than that on a turret.

You can remove the downstroke verification device and you wont need to press the reset button each time. The manual that comes with the measure has intructions on how to do this. It is pretty easy to do.

Thanks, I just read the instructions (Yes I actually read them:D)

Well that makes it much mo betterer for me;)

For the price I think I will get one. I have all the discs, charge bar, double, mini disks etc.

No more chance of a double charge then with the discs on the turret press and seems it can be adjusted more precisely than just what a disc gives you.

Just one thing to add, make sure to tighten the knob that holds the measure, with fine powder like AA#5 with leak around the anti leak grove. I found that out today while loading some 45 ACP rounds. Otherwise the drops are accurate, especially if you give the powder a second to drop. I have found you do not have to press the double feed lever every time a new case is place under the powder measure. The Quality is like other Lee products is good.

I hope Midway or some other places get it in stock, Never ordered from Titan, I guess they are right there near LEE in WI.

Think the extra drum kit is worth it? Keep them set. I do load a lot of different calibers and use different powders.

I have ordered from Titian several time and been to their store. The service is very good and they have shipped the same day I ordered several times I normally have the stuff in two days using priority mail 2 day delivery. And I think there prices are fair and reasonable.

I ordered something that was out of stock. When it came it I got and e-mail, same with this powder measure. I guess that is why I like this store and recommend it.
