Lee Factory resizer/crimp die

I think of the FCD as an insurance policy. Most cases would work just fine as is, but there are a few that might not. I'm in favor of crimping as a separate step, since I usually load cast bullets. If you load on a progressive, there is no more work involved in using it. If you load on a single stage or turret, then you need to decide if you really need it.

If you are loading over sized cast bullets cus your bore or chamber throats require it, the the LFCD will resize the bullet as well. Not a good thing.

This may be a dumb question, but here goes.
I'm setting up a newly acquired RCBS progressive press for .38 - do I use the factory crimp die for flush seated
wadcutters for my M52-2?
