Is it legal to order reloading supplies online? I live in CT.

Check with the supplier selling it, they have a list of restricted states and their regulations.

As far as I know, it is. I haven't bought powder or primers in along time but cases and heads I get often.

They may want to see your permit and driver's license. Ultimately it is up to the seller if they want to deal with it or not.

We can still buy ammo and have it shipped, again they want to see your permit.

Wow, democrats really want to control everything! I guess Bloombergs money reaches many democrat politicians pockets to push his perversions of controlling everything?
Thats what happened in Virginia.....

What are “ heads “?
Do you mean “ bullets “?

Strange terminology . . . .

Controll the ammo and you don't need gun control .

Easier to pass a law concerning ammo . CA. has outlawed online ammo sales and not much was made of it.
Reloading supplies next ?

Watch who you vote for .

Yes, bullets but for the sake of clarity, one needs a way to differentiate between bullets the actual projectile and bullets the loaded ammunition.

If I were to say I bought bullets, it leaves open room for interpretation. Many people will refer to these as bullet heads, projectiles or some other term. Slang terms such as calling ammunition bullets make the written language more difficult.

Sorry if I was confusing to you.

Are there any states/localities which ban or regulate purchase of reloading components? I am unaware of any.

I'm not 100% sure but shops around here want to see your permit to buy gunpowder and need to see it for ammo. We have different levels of permits here now, you can get an Ammo Permit from the state.

If online sellers want to sell ammunition to CT residents they need a copy of our permit on file.

"Bullets the loaded ammunition" Are technically called "Cartridges", and some slackers (like myself) call them rounds. Calling them BOOLETS comes from a Buggs Bunny, Daffy Duck, & Elmer Fudd cartoon, "One Boolet left!" It is amazing what we retain from childhood!

Check with Target Sports USA, a CT company. They'll know the law.
